TOLEDO OHIO, (13 Action News ) TPS parents no longer have to wonder the location of their child’s bus. Toledo Public Schools has new technology that allows parents to track their kids and their bus in real time. Bus Bulletin is a new notification system. It allows parents to be notified when there are bus delays or schedule changes.

Parents can sign up to receive text messages, a phone call or an email in English or Spanish.
Its free and all you need to do is enter your contact information.
You can choose the way you want to be notified and then choose your child’s bus. Another added bonus this year, free WiFi.

District leaders say it turns a bus ride into a rolling study hall.
Students can knock out 30 more minutes of homework before arriving home. This is a pilot program for 10 TPS school buses.
It is supported through title funds.
